Woodend Bed and Breakfast

We cannot praise the welcome we received from Nick and Linda highly enough. Our trip was, sadly, to attend a family funeral. From the first night when they insisted on giving us a lift to the local pub (with Nick even bringing us back when we were ready) they could not have done more to make our stay special. We fell in love with their lovely dogs, the breakfasts were up there with the best we have ever had and we could have spent hours chatting with this lovely couple. On our second night following the funeral we just wanted to stay in and relax; Linda provided crockery for the food we had bought and wine glasses and the great visitor lounge meant we could watch TV, read and chat in peace at the end of a rather tiring day. We found a gem in this place and can't recommend it highly enough. We did not have our dog with us on this occasion but it would have been perfect for her too!!
