Springdale Guest House

My wife & I stayed 2 nights at the Springdale guesthouse 23rd & 24th November This was by far the best ever B&B we have stayed at. Before we even set off on the Saturday lunchtime Caroline had messaged me explaining about the weather and to take care on our journey down to Harrogate. When we arrived Nigel greeted us and showed us to our room. He explained everything to us from the keys to recommending restaurants & pubs. A very friendly guy! The room was lovely & warm with an en suite the shower was powerful & lovely and hot depending on how you wanted it. There is a mini fridge with complimentary drinks including cans of coke, still & sparkling water and milk for tea & coffee which is also provided. There were quality street chocolates and a small bottle of Merlot red wine! Lovely touch. The bed was very comfortable, a good size smart TV and a plenty of storage for clothes etc. We met Caroline the next morning at breakfast, she is also a very friendly & welcoming person. The breakfast was excellent, started with a warm fruit compote with walnuts, Greek style yogurt & honey. There are also various cereals to choose from. We then had the full English breakfast, very tasty and plentiful with fresh orange juice tea or coffee. Very enjoyable Nigel & Caroline are amazing people and I count them as friends now and we will definitely be returning I recommend this this anyone as it is well worth a visit
