Holiday Inn London-Bloomsbury Hotel by IHG

I stayed in one of the recently renovated rooms and I liked it very much. Note that in 2025, most rooms have not been renovated yet, so you should expect a standard room. Note all bookable “Premium” rooms have been renovated. High-tier IHG Elite members also should not necessarily expect an upgrade to a rennovated room due to the limited availability. My renovated room was clean, comfortable and stylish. It included bottled water, a Nespresso coffee machine and a fridge with some complimentary snacks. The bathroom was modern and stylish with everything you need. The location of the hotel is very good. It’s not quite central London, but close enough, plus it’s right beside Russell Square tube station. It’s also located beside the Brunswick Centre, which has, amongst other things, a large Waitrose supermarket, pharmacies (Boots and Superdrug), plus restaurants and even a Curzon cinema. Overall, this is an excellent Holiday Inn. I would rate it four stars with a standard room, but have to give the renovated rooms five stars.
