Paddington Rob-Roy Executive Suites

The apartments are lovely, 3 of us stayed in room 102 which was clean & included a little kitchenette (microwave, kettle, coffee machine, sink & fridge). There was a sofa bed, which pulled out into a small double & we were left a full set of extra bedding, (there was also a fold up bed in the cupboard . The sofa area had its own TV & table. The main bedroom was lovely (the bed was huge & comfortable) & had a dressing table & another TV. The bathroom was small (there's only a shower & no bath) but it was clean & wasn't too cramped. The apartments are only 250 yards away from edgeware road station, so it's easy to get around. Hyde park was a 15 minute walk & Paddington Station was 10 mins away. The area was really nice, Tesco express & marks and spencer 5 mins walk away. There was someone on reception when we arrived & she was really helpful, it's only covered until 4.30, but there are numbers to call if you need to contact anyone for help. The only negative is that the apartments are situated above a bar - we went in & it was nice (although £4 for a lime and soda is a bit steep, even for London!) but it was very noisy. We stayed on a Thursday & I think that's live music night, so as our room (102) was directly above the bar, it was really loud. We knew that it would be noisy, but this went beyond the noise of a normal bar, it was like a nightclub. I called them several times & eventually got through & they said they would lower it down (they didn't), but then bar shut at 11.30 & it was fine from then on. I would say that if your travelling with children anything above the first floor would not be effected & if your travelling without kids, head down to the bar & enjoy! Would definitely recommend staying there.
