Premier inn all ways provides for me just enough with a comfy bed   My go to place
Queensferry is in good location and a wander down in to the old town near the bridge is well worth it.

Used as a base for a couple of days exploring Edinburgh as was cheaper than the hotels in the city centre. Was actually glad to be staying away from the busy city.
Room was lovely and clean, bed were comfy, hotel staff were really helpful with bus routes and directions 

Our room was really hot the first night and they didnt have any fans but the next day there was a fan in our room when we got back.feom a day out.

Buses to the city toom a while (43) but we're easy and frequent. The 474 to the airport also left from.across the road and was frequent.

Wr also went into south Queensferry itself on the 43 one day. Its a very cute little town and worth doing the boat tour under the bridges and you can get off at the island and see the abby.

Staff in the restaurant next door also.couldnt have been more friendly or helpful.

If we visit Edinburgh again I would definitely consider staying at this hotel again as a base.

Excellent. Always find Premier Inn clean and comfortable - we were five weary cyclists doing a charity ride from Land's End to John O'Groats, and were very well looked after by extremely friendly and efficient staff. We were even given a box of shortbread to help us on our way! Really highly recommended - thanks for having us.

Carnè at the reception was absolutely amazing!! Helped us with travel and how to get places, had a good laugh with us and extremely helpful. We Absolutely loved her!! Beds were comfy and good to have a McDonald’s and shop right next door. Recommend coming here 😊

Lady at reception Tari was welcoming and really helpful, helped us when we had difficulties finding a taxi. Rooms were comfy and clean and staff at reception were always really polite and helpful whenever needed, would stay again………………..

We spent 4 nights at the hotel  in a family room. The room and a bathroom were nice and clean. Breakfast was also delicious. Staff was very friendly and helpful. We used local buses to get to Edinburgh. It was so much easier than with a car. Bus stop is 5 minutes walk from a hotel and every 10 minutes. I would absolutely recommend this hotel.

As always never a problem with a Premier Inn.
Clean, tidy and a place to sleep. Plus your normal friendly staff.
Great access to the tram system into the city. Just a short walk away
.Brewers Fayre is next door. If you need it.
As for the sea view. Wow.

Staff were absolutely lovely, room was clean & breakfast was amazing. Breakfast had an amazing buffer and catered very well. Only thing i would say is that the room and hallways could do with a hoover and remote control for the TV could be dusted but apart from that it was amazing!

The hotel was warm and welcoming, we slept well in their comfy beds. The bar was next to the hotel and allowed a couple of hight caps before bed. We did have to ask for a towel as only one in the room but the reception staff where very helpful. There was a good supply of tea, coffee and milk. The room was clean, the bath was big enough to have a relaxing soak after a long drive.

Clean room, friendly staff, convenient pulic transport links for exploring

I usually like to stay in Premier Inns when I travel throughout the UK. I can always rely on comfortable beds and good food. This hotel is a bit tired and could do with some revamping but the room was clean and the free parking was a bonus. It’s also convenient because there is a petrol station, M&S food to go, and a McDonalds beside the car park. I visited during August and left my car at Ingliston Park and ride (10 minutes drive) to take the tram into central Edinburgh. It took around 40 minutes. Would stay again.

With its location some 10 miles outside Edinburgh, this place is close enough to make travelling into Edinburgh really easy, without being too remote. That largely accounts for its affordability - anything closer to the city centre would be prohibitively expensive. I was in Edinburgh attending a conference for four days, so the drive into the city each morning was picturesque and only about 20 minutes. There is parking and a Brewers Fayre restaurant on site, but that is really the extent of the amenities. It is pretty much what I have come to expect from a Premier Inn. My room had a shower with no bath, which suits me fine. The glass door and spacious cubicle make it preferable to shower curtains, and slightly less claustrophobic. One feature I particularly liked was the full-length window, which afforded a good view of the restaurant terrace and surrounding roads but was still a very quiet spot with little traffic.

Stayed after a late flight to Edinburgh airport. Check in was easy even at 3:30am!
Room was big enough for 2 adults & 2 children.
Only issue was the temperature-very warm with us all in it and only one fan to try and keep it cool.

Good value for money, just a bit warm

Great location for an airport stay we stayed before a trip to Edinburgh airport 15 mins walk into a delightful town with great views and places to eat.  20 mins from Edinburgh airport and other hotels can be overpriced near the airport or in industrial areas.

There were four of us (two couples) and we booked two rooms for a one-night stay while visiting Edinburgh. Unfortunately, this Premier Inn was a real letdown compared to others we’ve stayed at. We arrived 10 minutes before check-in time and were told we couldn’t check in early without being charged, something we’ve never encountered at any other Premier Inn. So we waited in the lobby, which didn’t even have enough seating for all four of us. Our room itself was dusty, the curtains looked like they hadn’t been washed in ages, and the bathroom was in the same dusty state. Worst of all, there was only one shower towel for me and my partner to share. The only other towels provided were a hand towel and a face cloth. We checked the usual storage spots, but there were no extras to be found.

Needs improvement

The amount of litter leading up to the hotel and within the hotel car park was shocking.  Really wouldn't take much to clear this.
Reception staff were very pleasant.  Housekeeping is very poor.  The level of mould around the shower screen was awful and again, it wouldn't take much to address.  Dispenser soap at side of bathroom sink was covered in rust, I purchased soap as wasn't willing to use the one provided.
Asked for room to be serviced, returned to room hours later and although we had received clean towels, the bed which required to be changed, had just been left, items must have fallen out of the bedroom bin and had just been left on the floor.  Very poor standard of cleanliness.  Such a shame as this could be a great hotel but management need to look at the hotel and the surrounding  grounds through the eyes of guests.
