Christianne was a very welcoming host and nothing was any trouble to her 
Room lovely and warm and cosy
Continental breakfast was great

As a traveller who stops in many hotels and bed and breakfasts i can say this place is most welcoming

We had a wonderful meal tonight.  My husband had the shellfish and I had a lovely soup and fresh veggies.  Very sweet staff and friendly bartender.  Great atmosphere with lots of historic character.   Overall great experience and would recommend dinner here to anyone.

Well was here for a weeks work and let me tell u.this is a hidden gem absolutely amazing from breakfast and the room a can’t say how much we were welcomed and looked after the place is absolutely stunning from the decor to the staff it was just lovely so it’s a 5* review from me and my colleague will definitely be recommending this outstanding hotel to our employers for future reference thanks again 👌

We spent a lovely weekend here. Everything from the warm welcome and the offer to carry my case up to our room when we arrived until we left on Sunday morning was just perfect.
Our room was lovely and with little extras you don't usually get.....bathrobes, a hot water bottle and a fleece blanket, a cafetiere, a teapot, a Tunnocks Wafer and a Tunnocks Teacake.
The room was warm with heating easy to regulate, the bed was very comfortable and the ensuite with shower was very good and with toiletries provided.
We had invited some family for an evening meal with us on the Saturday and everything was beautifully presented and tasted delicious. There is so much attention to detail and the owner and all the staff go out of their way to ensure your stay is a memorable one. We will definitely return.

We received a warm welcome from David and Sophie on our arrival. David then personally showed us up to our lovely decorated room which had all the facilities one would need for a pleasant stay. Though the room was fitted with a double bed the comfort of the mattress was exceptional and came with two plump pillows each one firm and one soft. We ate dinner in the Hearth restaurant and can only discribe the food as being of exceptional quality and well presented served by the very friendly Sophie. Would highly recommend the Old Mill Inn. The breakfast choice was also excellent with most things offered to satisfy any appetite. 

Brilliant, the service and attention to detail through our stay excellent.
The room cozy with all the necessary heating, toiletries and a really comfortable bed and a fantastic sleep. Breakfast to die for with all requirements catered for, tasty and delivered hot.The hosts deliver excellent service a deserve to be busy, will most certainly return soon, many thanks for a wonderful stay.

Loved this place ,everything and more in the room that you could wish for,nothing too much trouble, we were a late booking as we were touring Scotland for 2 weeks and was not sure where we would be and they kindly fitted us in for evening meal even though they were busy ,breakfast was to die for ,everything home made ,owners very friendly and nice,loved the decoration,really good stay,Thankyou for making a night of our tour special.

We have eaten at the Old Mill on numerous occasions and always loved it so when needing a room for a few nights we decide to give it a try. The hosts are amazing, rooms are great with lots of lovely small touches. And the breakfast menu fantastic with locally sourced produce. Can highly recommend a visit here

Very warm welcome. Room excellent and bed very comfy. We booked evening meal and the food was fabulous. We'll cooked, we'll presented and excellent service. Very comfortable atmosphere. Great little touches .
Would highly recommend the accommodation and the fab food..
This was a little post cancer treatment treat and we found a little gem we will be returning  to.

The Old Mill Inn is a home away from home. Sophie and David are amazing hosts. It’s a small inn, and service is amazing. They think of everything, from hot chocolate to fresh milk for your coffee in the room. 

The beds are super comfortable, and daily housekeeping, keeping the rooms tidy at all times. 

The restaurant is 5* - food is truly outstanding - both of flavour and quantity, a variety of cocktails and a wide selection of wine, and impeccable service. 

I can’t wait to go back

Great Getaway Location in Brodie, Forres

A charming hotel...lovely setting.
Had a lovely weekend here in the Old Mill Inn at Brodie.
Sophie & David  are excellent hosts, the breakfast was awesome, a great choice, my hubby & I opted for the full cooked breakfast, loved the sausage, haggis & mushrooms with egg & bacon, my hubby had black pudding & lorne sausage with his too.
Our ensuite room was lovely, had everything we needed & the bath robes & slippers are a lovely touch.
Great we had WiFi too.
We were visiting family nearby at Forres, so the location was perfect
Thank you Sophie & David, we will definitely recommend & hopefully be back soon.
