The Bell Hotel Epping

Well I read a few bad reviews, OK the Bell is a bit dated and could do with some investment and maintenance but it’s great value, I slept like a log and I was not disturbed by loud music, other guests or doors banging. If your planning a weekend away with the lady from accounts this probably isn’t the place for you, but if you want a simple hotel that’s clean and tidy, ample parking, is near the tube station, good local walks and a nice Essex high street nearby .. then why not give it a try. I go back to some of the poor reviews; I cannot see anywhere else offering better value nearby. As for security, my room has a keycard, the corridor to my room has a keycard access, there’s CCTV inside and out. Also .. this is my second night, on arrival to my room after work I thought my mum had been round, the bed was made, the bathroom was tidy, the tea and coffee refilled and the room was aired. I’ve stayed in better hotels, but not many that offer the value you find at the Bell.
