Lovely hotel and team on the front desk. Handy having the beefeater next door. And oddly I loved cups of tea at the garden centre also next door. Public footpaths nearby for lovely county walks. Handy for parkruns in the area too. 

Stayed here for a night out in Newport rather than paying for taxi home. 
Excellent warm welcome from reception and lovely and clean comfortable room….extra pillows were a bonus and enjoyed a good soak in the bath. Thanks.

We stayed at this hotel in Aug 2023, the lady on front desk Kirsty made us feel welcome, and was there if we needed any thing! Our room was clean, the bathroom was also clean. Nice hotel will definitely be back.

Wanted somewhere not too expensive to break a long journey. Perfect location, Beefeater next door, supermarket close by. Super friendly welcome by the receptionist on arrival. The only slight negative is that the hotel is adjacent to a busy main road and the traffic noise goes on all night. Keep the window closed if you want the best night’s sleep.

Stayed to attend an impromptu ex school mates Xmas drinks.  Unfortunately I spent very little time at the hotel as we had a bit of a wild night in Newport but on checking in I was impressed with the quality of the hotel & room.  I had asked for a quieter room and it was exactly that.  I’m from Newport but moved away & I’m delighted to have found this option of a good value for money stay that’s comfortable, easy to park & only a 20 mins easy walk into Newport.

Easy to park with plenty of disabled parking available. Level walk to reception desk. Knowledgeable friendly staff, Kirsty was really helpful and nothing was too much trouble. The room was large and clean. Towels, and extra pillows were readily available. The WiFi wasn't great but if you have 4G you would be okay. We will definitely return.

Had a lovely night stay over the weekend visiting my daughter. The welcome we got was lovely and warming, nothing was too much trouble, would definitely stay here again. Visited Three fish restaurant next door, staff were friendly and food was delicious. Highly recommend both.

Very relaxing stay with excellent food chose would recommend the room very very clean and comfortable food was very good lots of choose good service in both hotel and restaurant helpful staff that are happy to help 

Stayed 1 night visiting family. Very Welcoming happy staff. Lovely rooms nice & clean very comfortable bed. Great nights sleep. Resturant next door. Had nice cooked breakfast lovely freshly cooked & hot.

We have revisited this hotel on various occasions and it never disappoints. The staff are always welcoming and helpful. Happy to give advice about where the local places to go are depending on what we are looking for on the trip. The rooms have exactly what we need, and for the prices we have paid at any point so far value for money.

My room that was initially allocated to me was not satisfactory.
Kelly and her colleagues moved me to another room without any fuss . The staff here were the most courteous and willing of any that I have experienced on many visits to other sites I have used .

I stayed here for one night in November. The hotel is really nice with a big room, spotlessly clean and a very comfortable bed. Very friendly staff and good value. We had a room on the roadside. I would recommend asking for a room at the back. We ate at Beefeater for breakfast and had a very nice meal both times. Great value and kids under 16 eat free. I can highly recommend this hotel.

Arrived to find that my reservation had not been confirmed, so with the help of the amazingly lovely Chanice we finally sorted a room move that I could use the sofa bed in my colleagues room until a solution could be found. At 10.30pm there was a Knock at the door. Chanice told us that she’d sorted it & showed me too my room, an Angel.
Room’s spot on in every way. Beefeater next door, so beer & great food next door.

Fantastic helpful staff, nothing too much trouble with lovely room

Very pleasant stay despite the building work for the new restaurant which wasn't intrusive, just a little dusty everywhere.
Only downside was the useless wifi. It seemed to keep dropping in and out and saying it wasn't secure. Not a major issue for me personally, just a little annoying.

Typical Premier Inn, but I feel standard are starting to slip. One tea and two sachets of coffee only for a couple (no biscuits).

Room wasn't great and spare pillows weren't sealed, like they are meant to be (I think), so don't know if they had been used.

Price was good at £83 for the night
