Super good - great gastro pub with rooms upstairs

Only stayed for one night as I was passing through on a business trip but very handy. Very convenient. Nice warm clean room. Good size two

This place is amazing, Lovelly wee modern up to date hotel, room was warm and welcoming, decorated beautifully, Lovelly wee touches, filtered water, chocolate, sewing kits, tea making facilities, extremely comfortable bed, In the bar the wines were top class quality and the food was superb, staff were very warm and welcoming. Manager off the hotel was also very helpful and couldn’t do enough!! 5 ⭐️ would highly recommend, can’t wait to visit again,

What’s not to like clean tidy well equiped rooms above a GastroPub serving amazing food

Fantastic for the price. Went for a wedding in a nearby hotel so was looking for a place to lay the head. The rooms were on the smaller side but still plenty of room to relax and change. Bed was very comfy and everything was well presented. TV in the rooms with tea coffee facility and a hair dryer. Even a couple of wee chocolate mints and a bottle of fresh water. I would have no issues staying again!

Great place to stay , great staff and fantastic food

Very friendly, attentive and welcoming staff and locals. Stylish rooms with lots of extras, 2 bottles of water, toiletries, hairdryer, tea/coffee and even a sewing kit. Great shower, comfortable bed, Food was delicious. Music in bar was great. Great atmosphere.

Always a warm welcome from Jacqueline. It is such a cosy establishment to dine at. The food is wonderful, we had sticky chilli & garlic chicken today. Highly recommend stopping in for food and even an overnight stay.

Situated in a lovely, quiet little town, The Tailor's House is a real find.
Warm welcome and nothing was too much trouble.
The room was gorgeous and the bathroom huge.
Everything was spotless and the bed was very comfortable.
I didn't get to sample the food as currently the restaurant is closed on the weekdays but should I get lucky enough to return here, I hope it will be on a weekend as the restaurant looked so inviting.
Big shout out to Emmett (the owner) he couldn't have done more to make my stay as great as it was.

Fantastic! Highly recommend

We arrived in Ballygawley a tad early after driving from Dublin. The staff we a bit confused where we were going to stay. they were very charming and sorted it in the end. The room was clean and  tidy ( a lot of cushions ! ). Breakfast was OK but seemed overcooked. We went to Auchnacloy for a meal that night as food was not being served which was disappointing as we booked specifically for their good food  reputation.

Went this evening for a meal to tailors house a beautiful place very clean service was totally attentive in every way.The food was of a very high standard excellent presentation and hot certainly not disappointed will return for food again. Thank you all for the birthday presentation and the singing totally fantastic. 

Birthday surprise 

The Tailor’s House is a great find and I will certainly return. The room was small but modern and very comfortable. The restaurant has a great atmosphere and the background music adds to that. Service is good with friendly staff and the food @ dinner was excellent... great flavours and different to the norm of a City hotel. 
Breakfast was also very good so this place comes highly recommended and was a nice surprise and a “Gem of a place!”

We had a family meal in the restaurant on the 18th April and felt compelled to acknowledge the exceptional service received from Maeve. She was friendly and extremely professional, and was knowledgable on every aspect of the menus choices. The food was beautifully served and the presentation was excellent. The other staff members were also very good. Overall, a most pleasant experience because of the quality of service and food.
We will return again!

We recently stayed for one night at this excellent hotel and it was one of the best experiences of our Ireland tour.  The room was beautiful and big and clean with a big bathroom.  The hotel is located right in the center of town and has a restaurant where we enjoyed one of the best meals of our trip.  The Full Irish for breakfast the next morning was outstanding as well.  And the owner who sat and chatted with us is one of the nicest people one could meet.  Wonderful place!

Excellent B&B and Restaurant

Whislt visitg Tyrone we stayed here and its a little gem.
Family run business with lovely rooms and lovely food, all served by caring staff.
Breakfast was lovely.
The evening menus are wonderful but be warned that the menu on Monday to Wednesday  differs from that available from thursday onwards over the weekend.
We ate on a wednesday and then thursday with one of the most beautiful steaks I have ever eaten served on thursday evening (The butchers shop across the road is owned by the family...hence the high quality of the steaks......don't miss out!)
Thank you to you all...we had a wonderful time staying with you.

two night stay to remember

The restaurant was excellent and I had the most surprising superfood salad - even the half portion was plenty and full of goodness - lentils, cucumber, beetroot, and various other delicious veg plus an assortment of fruit - blueberries, blackberries, strawberries sprinkled throughout.  The dressing was incredible and it was clear that the meal had been prepared freshly and with a lot of love! I live in Dublin and I would be hard pushed to find something of this quality in a good restaurant there.  Well done chef and well done Tailor's House.  I won't be stopping in Aughnacloy anymore!! I have done so for about 20 years commuting between north and south but this Tailor's place is a real find, especially for someone who enjoys excellent quality food and superb menu choices. ps I'm a vegetarian, and there were several options on the menu plus the server said that meat / fish dishes could be served vegetarian also, which is a plus for someone like me! ps the service could not have been better either, the waiting staff were extremely helpful and interested in what they were doing.
