Very good value for money, clean room, comfortable mattress, friendly and welcoming member of staff. Would definitely book again. 
A rubber mat would be good for the shower for anyone a bit unsteady,I got in with wet feet as my husband showered first and I slipped but was able to steady myself but I did feel to nervous to use it again without a towel down.
Nice having a small table and chairs outside the room 

Stayed here as my uncle has died and we have travelled from Newcastle.
Glad we stayed here as its clean, comfortable and very welcoming. The food was delicious and the staff and customer service is second to none, nothing was a bother to any member of the team. 
Not only were the team friendly but the customers
Were very pleasant also.

Being disabled I was very worried when my husband booked this as he obviously didn't read that it wasn't suitable. I got on the phone immediately and was put at ease right away. We had been booked into a lovely room out the back. No noise from pub at all.   Absolutely perfect, private and with our own table and chairs outside.  Fab Chinese takeaway next door and the lady behind the bar gave us plates. We sat in the sunshine eating our Chinese and having drinks from the bar. The shower was one of the best showers I've ever had, the beds  were very comfortable and we had a good nights rest and there was ample parking. I would have no problem rebooking a room here if we were in the area again. Thank you for your hospitality.

I have just spent a week working at Sutton Bridge Power Station. The first night I booked in to the Travel lodge up the road but with in an hour of getting there I was phoing around.

I'm glad I did. Alice and Noel were very weloming and friendly.

The Riverside cost £3 a night more, free Wi-Fi and the rooms are immaculate. They are a decent size and have every thing you need in there. The shower was massive and a great relief after a days work.

But, a bigger relief after a days work was the food. Noel knows his way the kitchen for sure and a hot meal after working in sub-zero tempratures were spot on. And they weren't small meals either. 

To summise. If you're going to stay in the Sutton Bridge area, this would be the place I recommend. Good rooms cleaned daily, awesome hot meals and at a price you can't complain about.

If I work in this area again this will be the first place I call.

I had a wonderful stay at Riverside Sutton Bridge. The staff made me feel welcome on arrival, once settled in I went to the bar, there was such a friendly atmosphere and the refreshments were excellent value. The meals offered were excellent quality and reasonably priced. The room was spotlessly cleaned with fresh towels daily. I would recommend Riverside not only for a reasonably priced hotel but as a restaurant and bar. I will certainly stay again.

The Riverside far exceeded our expectations. Great value for money, spotlessly clean. Beds were extremely comfortable and rooms very large for the price, even had a small dining/eating area. Very large shower with lots of hot water, good water pressure and lovely super-white towels. We even had a small terrace area with table, 2 chairs and umbrella which was fantastic as weather was lovely. Television with a great selection of channels. We have already tried to re-book for September but they were fully booked. Highly recommended, lovely people and we could not fault it in any way. Many thanks for a relaxing weekend.

We booked 30 minutes before we arrived and found our room was perfect. A double twin. The beds were very comfortable and the room very clean. Our evening meal was reasonably priced and very tasty. We both had prawn cocktails then my husband had a perfectly cooked steak with all  the trimmings and I had Salmon. We were asked what time we would like breakfast which for us was a good idea.Our full English breakfast was perfectly cooked. Juices and cereals were available. If we were travelling that way again we would definately book in again.

Not what I was expecting but did the job, cheap and cheerful could sum it up. First impressions were not good, a small bar in the midst of several semi derelict buildings. I arrived latish after noon to find the bar reasonably busy with locals and made my self known to the barmaid. Unfortunately I don't know her name but she was very friendly, checked my booking, took payment and showed me my room.
The room was outside to the rear of the bar, and there is a rear gated path to allow access with out going through the bar. The room was basic, very good shower, great fluffy towels, TV,  kettle, tea and coffee. Everything was clean but the bed was quite uncomfortable (it's a twin room, and when I checked the other In the morning it did feel better)
The room was noisy whilst the bar was busy, I think it was the beer cooler, but quietened down not too late.
Fish and chips shop  and Chinese takeaway nextdoor I tried the Chinese and could recommend. The beer in the bar I had was good, and locals all friendly.
I would probably stay again if in that vicinity, My wife would have not enjoyed it.

Very good easy check and great value for money. Car parking is street parking near the property. The food was good but took a long time for it to come out after ordering it. The bar prices were very reasonably and good local people to chat to. A good place.
