Booked for family that was visiting from USA … From the moment you ring the bell you get the warmest welcome from Christine and Jim.
The room was spotless, comfy beds , tv etc 
And we were made a lovely cup of tea. 
The breakfast was fabulous and at a time that suited us. Cannot recommend booking here highly enough , you arrive as visitors and leave as friends

This is a wonderful home to stay in, Mr & Mrs Dillon a very welcoming and friendly.  The bedrooms are spacious, spotlessly clean and very comfortable beds. Breakfast is cooked individually for you  with the freshest ingredients, (the eggs are laid to order in the field next to the house).I recommend this B&B very highly.

Bnb was clean and welcoming. Jim and Christine were on hand and happy to help with any needs, local knowledge, booking a table at the local pub ect. 
We were Mountain Biking the 7 Stains so this was a great location to base from for the Dumfries and Galloway leg of the trip.

Stayed here for 2 nights on a Mountain Biking trip, Jim and Christine are very welcoming and couldn't do enough to help - Jim even spent 2 days tidying the garage so we could store the bikes (which we then didn't use - Sorry Jim.)  Breakfast was excellent and they recommended an excellent local pub for evening meals.  Would definitely stay here again and we will probably do so next year for our annual Scotland MB trip.

One of our stops for a recent mountain biking trip. Jim and Christine were both very welcoming and we instantly felt at home. The rooms were impeccably clean with all of the amenities that you’d need. Breakfast was just perfect for the adventurous day ahead, this included a variety of cereals, cooked breakfast, juice, coffee and toast on tap.

I would definitely recommend to anyone.

You will recieve a heartwarming welcome from owners Jim and Christine, they were such a delight and great hosts. Had the best tasting local food and meals cooked for us even the haggis was brill, will always go back and stay when we visit Scotland next, thank you Jim and Chris time for your hospitality.

Just had a short break 3 night stay at East Brae. What a lovely place. It is a credit to Jim & Christine, the wonderful hosts. We will be visiting again soon. Cannot speak highly enough about this B&B. So homely and friendly. Well worth a visit.

Just had 3 days in Dumfries’s and Galloway and stopped at east Brae where we were welcomed by Jim and Christine upon arriving we were made to feel at home and was greeted with a hot drink and cake and biscuits the rooms were very clean and comfortable breakfast was fantastic bacon eggs (laid on the premises) sausage mushrooms plenty of toast and home made jams tea or coffee & fresh orange juice I would definitely recommend this place to stay both Jim & Christine were welcoming host we will definitely return 

I have being working on the new hospital being built found this lovely B&B and stayed on as Jim & Christine made me so welcome from the moment I step through the door and was offered a cup of tea It was like being at home.Everything is on the same level it is very clean It is on the main A75 but because of the windows fitted I did not here the traffic as I was there a year met the regulars who visit  it is a nice area to visit and Jim & Christine can advise you, the breakfast is great but as I started early some days They would leave out tea/cereal bread for toast 
So if you are looking to visit the Dumfries Area or on the road to Ireland call in and stay Jim is ex Army ex Trucker and has many stories to tell over a cup of tea ,the eggs are from the hens they keep and the meats are from the butchers  not tescos
