You would have to travel far in London to get such good accommodation for the price. OK, it doesn't have TV or a kettle in the room and it can be a bit spartan, but look what you get for the price: Free internet; free tea/coffee in the kitchen; common room; and above all a 20 metre non-smoking exclusion zone round the property! Choice of cheaper rooms in the old building or the much better ensuites in the modern building at the rear which includes level floors, solid walls and cooler temperatures in the blazing summer sun. You will probably have to share a bathroom in the old part which I don't usually mind but this time some inconsiderate neighbour never thought of cleaning up their fecal mess in the toilet pan. That's when I decided I had to upgrade to an en-suite. The reception staff are really helpful and work in some of the hottest conditions on earth. They deserve some air conditioning!
