Had a family room for a week.  Everything was great. Clean, tidy helpful friendly staff.
Breakfast included was great. Only downside if there was one was limited parking and very narrow road.Would stay again.

Last minute trip to Jersey to catch up with friends. Very pleasant and helpful host. Lovely room. Yummy breakfast. Ideal location for where we needed to go. The dogs made it feel like home. Only down fall is the walls are very thin so can hear other guests, other than that no complaints and would definitely stay here again. Thank you

We stayed 3 nights here very clean room good breakfast Rodger & Maria are nice friendly people, room was small but OK as you only sleep there. location excellent about 20mins walk to St Helier center bus stop at end of street. Not a lot of parking space so if you can leave the car the island has an excellent bus service so you can get to anywhere you want to see. 

We have just come back from a week's stay at the St Francis Guest House. Let's start with the very positive.....the location is fabulous, a short 10-15 min walk into St Helier, ideally positioned for exploring the island (which is beautiful).  Our room (one of four) was very good - a comfy mattress, a great power shower and separate loo, which is quite unusual these days.  The breakfast was great and plentiful - fruit juices, fresh fruit, a variety of cereals, then a full cooked with toast, tea/coffee.  Absolutely no complaints.

During our week' stay, our bedding was changed once (which I didn't expect) and our towels were changed at least twice, which was really good.  The rooms are refreshed every morning after breakfast, which is I think more than a 'normal' guest house would do.. 

On a slightly negative note (but shouldn't detract from the above) - be aware that there are only two car parking spaces outside the B&B, one of which is usually taken by the owner.  To be honest, if I owned a guest house with limited parking, I'd find somewhere to park my car.......so in a four room guest house, it is likely that if you're using a car, you might struggle.

The bus service seemed very good from what another guest said, so if you flew over and didn't want to hire a car, you can easily get around the island.

There was no mattress protector on the bed, although the pillows did have protectors. I expect a protector whether I'm in a hotel, guest house or even an AirBnB property.

Finally, there is some noise at the back of the property - we had fantastic weather so had to have windows open - there is some noise from dogs late at night/early morning, and be aware that Sunday night seems to be the night that the bins get taken out!  
However, I should point out that I am a very light sleeper and wake at the slightest noise - my husband slept through the whole lot!!

All in all, this is a great budget guest house, fab location for St Helier, excellent breakfasts and plenty of it.  I would recommend.
