This hotel has the advantage of being close to Glasgow without the expense or hassle of the big city.It is a short trip by the train to  Glasgow.It is also 7 mim to the Glasgow Airport.
Paisley has a most interesting history.The two things for a must see are the Coats Church on High Street and the Paisley Abbey. Both are remarkable.The Ashtree rooms are large and the bath rooms are new and up,to date.The place is clean,staff friendly and helpful.I am very happy I stayed here and will again.

Great Staff, Clean,Conforable,Teriffic Loaction

The place is easy to get to by bus, but is very far away from the centre.  The girl who saw to me on arrival was very friendly.  The room was basic but comfortable.  The door to the bathroom looked warped!  Heating was on the whole time and I couldn't turn it off!  The breakfast was not what it said on the booking, which stated full English breakfast, but it was continental!  Bit of a rough part of Cambridge has I was walking back to the property, there was a man whom became quite aggressive but hopefully this was an isolated incident. Other than that it was a pleasant enough stay, but I won't be staying here again due to the inconvenience of being out of the way.

A bit far away

In a residential area this guest house dissapoints from the first moment. A strange smell greats one on entry having struggled with the code system on the front door. Nothing personal about this experience at all. Rooms cramped and feel in need of upgrading. Tea and coffee facilities in room. Road noise thrown in for free outside. The smallest TV on the planet hangs from the wall and the shower space is not much bigger.
At £42 for single use it is not cheap. It should be.......

The English breakfast is extra!!!!!

I was unable to gain access to this guest house on arrival and despite endless calls to the number given on the paperwork and emails, I could not get a response. At 11pm I was forced to find alternative accomodation. Unfortunately I had 3 nights booked and eventually managed to find someone in the next day. The young lady refused me entry until I had paid for the previous night. If it wasnt for the fact that they already had my credit card details and would charge me anyway I would have left there and then. The breakfast which was supposed to be full english was a meagre continental. The room was small but adequate.
I have since tried without success to contact the management. Clearly these people do not care what about their guests, nor what they might write on reviews. I found the whole experience stressful and expensive. For the cost of paying for a room, to which i could not gain access, and alternative accomodation, i could have stayed somewhere of a much higher standard.  I would warn anyone considering this place to give it a very wide berth!

PAINFUL EXPERIENCE!

I'll rather sleep in my car than paying 50£for this.
Dirty room,it looked like bedsheets havent been changed ,bathrooom full of hair,bad breakfast with out of date butter and funny taste of orange juice. A total disgrace, wold not stay here ever again.
