Amazing beautifull, friedly and helpfull lady on receiption went above to help, if you need help with anything just ask for Alison.

The hotel is in a nice location, very quiet location, the bar could do with more spirits 

Hotel was easy to find

Fantastic receptionists. Looked after my every whim (changed room to a downstairs one). Gave some chocolates to my children, when they arrived to see me for xmas. Very friendly staff, pleasant atmosphere and well kept (the hotel not the receptionists!)

We have visited this Premier Inn many times. It is usually a great family reunion, unfortunately this time was for a funeral. Our grandson Lucas suddenly passed away, he was one of two children of my son who died a few years ago in Swadlincote from a rare cancer. So in a few years we have lost our son and then our grandson, his son both far too young. Please thank all your staff from Thursday 4th January till the 7th January for going above and beyond to help us get through this difficult time. Thanks to Mark in the evening shift and Michelle and all her colleagues for doing anything they could to help our other 2 sons, granddaughter and Aunts and Uncles of them both.. they were very thoughtful and helpful and kind to all of us. So sorry I did not get all the names of the people that helped us all. Thank you Premier Inn, you lived up to your expectations and more for the whole family and ourselves.Thank you so very much for your support.. Linda Tony MORGAN.

Hotel a bit run down but team fantastic. Alex on reception was very helpful. Not much around the area. Came for a funeral. Room had everything I needed, bed, shower, kettle etc. what else do you need?

Stayed for a night yesterday (25th nov) room was lovely and clean, bed was very comfy, single bed for my toddler was comfy too he slept al night  ! Lovely view from our side room ! Had evening meal and breakfast in the pub joined on ! Good choices continental and full English ! Would recommend ! Tv and free wifi !!

Stayed here Saturday 5th November as myself and my partner were going to a family function in Burton so this was the closest for us to where we needed to be. Kerry dealt with us at check-in and was warm and welcoming. Check-in was quick however there was an issue with the system not cutting our key card but Kerry let us into our room and then returned a few minutes later with our key card once all was back up and running. The room itself was small and compact but still had everything we needed, this is an older set up but is still nice and we'll maintained. We had a very good night sleep.  Checkout was quick, just drop your key card in the box and then a member of staff appeared suddenly to say good bye... I think she was doing housekeeping and reception at the same time. Talk about multi tasking. All in all a great nights stay and great team. Will definitely stay here again. 

Stayed here on a Saturday evening for a family party just down the road. Free to use car park across the road.
Checked in around 6pm. Really friendly member of staff on reception called Kerry. She got us checked in promptly. She was having trouble with the computer but remained calm and sorted us out and got us into out room.
Room was a little smaller than I am used to but it was definitely fit for purpose. It was clean and the bed made well. A little note had been left in the room welcoming us with a chocolate treat from our housekeeper Caroline.
Slept well and only heard a little noise in the morning,  but it was 10am so people were up and about. 
Checked out just before midday on the Sunday. Member of staff who's name I didn't catch was doing work in the corridor but walked really quickly to the reception area to thank us for staying and wishing us a safe journey. I always think the goodbye is important as its the last memory of your stay.

We recently travelled to Swadlincote for a family funeral. Upon arrival we were greeted warmly by Michelle. She checked us in efficiently and asked us if we had any other requirements. She booked us in for a  family breakfast. Throughout the evening she was very attentive and nothing was too much trouble. 
My son went downstairs and asked for teas and coffee and she was amazing I think she is the best person ever the son bye the way bye

An amazing stay with lovely people and a great restaurant, a joy to stay at... Millie at the restaurant was superb and a credit to the hotel and restaurant... I will be visiting again and look forward to seeing Burton On Trent again... 

My company get the review emails and never fill it out so the hotel asked me to leave a review. I must say this hotel is perfect for my work locational needs , just basic rooms doesn’t cost me anything work pay so can’t say anything about price

Simply amazing people at the Premier Inn …… 82 ASHBY ROAD BRETBY.

Couldn't fault room quality but the bar was disappointing. I've stayed here before and was able to enjoy a really good pint of Marstons pedigree,this time there was not a single English ale to be had.Continental and American lagers in abundance.This was 3 miles from the biggest brewery town in England.First night there was no ice available.Had continental breakfast one morning,this was also very basic


Disappointing restaurant and bar

Stayed here as needed to be near my bosses house 10 minutes away.
The lady on reception who I think was Kerry was very friendly and helpful.  
Even though the hotel is on a main road it was very quiet barring the neighbouring rooms tv.
Don’t know why said neighbours felt the need to slam the door about 10 times either in the space of half an hour but not the hotels fault. 
Car park is free and across the road but you can park out front if there is space.
Yes it is like a rabbit warren with quite a few stairs but I was at the far back of the hotel (room 15) but I was happy to be out of the way. 
I was given a family room although I was a lone traveller but the space was nice. 
The room was clean barring a hair I found on the bed and sadly whoever had a shave in the bathroom sink previously hadn’t swilled it away properly. 
The bathroom did look tired and a bit mouldy but refurbs are not hotels priorities at the moment.
Paying the mental cost of living bills are.
The bed was comfortable minus the hair when I got in it and when next door kindly switched their tv off I did get a good nights sleep. 
I would return as it was a good price and a great location for where I needed to be. 
I didn’t use the pub next door so can’t comment about that.
