Wow !! What a fantastic find this was. Nestled in The Quantocks in an amazing setting we could not fault this Hotel at all. We had 2 x 2 night summer break (4 nights in total) which included full cooked breakfast and a £70 credit per couple per night which was ample. Such wonderful charm outside the building as well as inside. The place is full of character and just feels relaxing the moment you step inside. We had room 5 at the front of building and we were overwhelmed at its size and comfort... the bed was amazing and so comfortable. To listen to the river and birds singing in the morning was truly magical. All the food we had was exceptional. The breakfast choice was superb and the Full English was just top class 👌 Evening meals had a great choice from about 6 or 7 different ones. Every single meal and starters we had was amazing and cooked to perfection, so tasty and plentiful ! Well done to the amazing chef 👏 All the staff were amazing, polite and friendly and would do anything for us, nothing was any hassle for them at all. Margaret and Letitia were amazing and so nice to talk to. Everyone was but they were the only 2 I asked their names. I also had some lovely chats with the owner, a truly lovely gent who I would have loved to of chatted to more. So we will have to return again in the near future. Look forward to seeing you all again. Thank you for making our little break away very special.
