We arrived early and understandably the room was not ready, the very friendly owner let us park the car and then gave us a rundown of places to eat and visit. Great location and terrific value. The room, although a little dated, was clean and had everything you would want. Great bed and shower, will definitely stay again.

I have stopped here a few times over the years in both rooms 2 & 3, both of which are great. They are spotless, have everything you need and more. There were bottles of water, plenty of tea & coffee, fresh milk, biscuits and chocolates. The location is great as it is a very short walk into the city, free parking behind (first come first served). I honestly think Sue isn't charging enough for the room for the amount you get.

The only slight disappointment is breakfast isn't currently being offered because of covid. In the past the breakfast has been great quality. Overall for the money I don't know what more people could want or need?

Stayed here for one night on the 28/6/21. 
Perfect location + Parking space provided to the rear. Large basic but comfy and quiet room with everything you’d need. Very nice large bath and the lady was very welcoming and helpful. Would stay again!

Lovely place, very convenient location with parking. Comfortable room with all the amenities you need. We were very well looked after by the nice lady who recommended various nice places for brekkie and dinner.

With the easing of lockdown it's been great to go away and Cornerways was a lovely room in an ideal location. Only a few mins into Bath with plenty of places to eat/drink/shop etc.
Sue was very welcoming and we'd happily come back.

I saw the reviews as we were looking for a centralised location near to the shopping centre of Bath, were not disappointed as the location was about 5 minutes from the start of the area we wanted to be in. There are only 3 bedrooms with ours at back of building and well very appointed and extremely clean; Sue made us very welcome with a good introduction to the area as well as the facilities and whilst there is parking it is quite limited with room for only 3 vehicles which need to be parked behind each other so if you are planning to leave early make sure you are not 'blocked'in'. The breakfast order is taken at time of checking in and certainly well cooked; Sue must be commended as she is older than most owners I have come across and hopefully she can keep going for many years to come. A SUPERB PLACE TO STAY and I have travelled globally for work and pleasure - well done Sue and yes would stay again!..

I stayed here for one night and it was delightful. Sue, the owner, was welcoming and the room was modern, spotless and with tea, coffee, biscuits. I chose to have breakfast and it was delicious - fresh fruit salad and Greek yogurt, followed by a cooked breakfast with good quality ingredients. The guesthouse is central and really good value for money. I'd definitely stay here again

I have stayed at Cornerways several times now on visits to Bath for work and pleasure. It is my go-to place for any Bath visit. I adore the elegance and style of the house which has been sensitively and beautifully decorated and furnished by the owner, Sue. 
I especially love the art work, the many paintings and prints and wall hangings that adorn each bedroom wall. I love the fabulous beds and linen. Every tea tray has been set with such careful attention to detail! It is a delight to stay here and to revisit. 
The location is perfect for a short walk into the city centre. 
There is free parking at the rear of the property and rooms can be booked on a room only or B & B basis, which is an added bonus. Breakfasts are a rich continental breakfast with a superb fruit salad, pastries, excellent coffee, and the most perfect poached egg or scrambled egg on toast cooked to order. 
I love visiting Bath and more so since I’ve discovered Cornerways!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay here.  Sue was delightful and very helpful with suggestions.  The breakfasts were terrific and the room was spotless, comfy and roomy.
Very well located for walking to all of Bath.

On arriving,sue greeted us and explained what we had for breakfast which was a good choice. Made us a cup tea and explaining where to go and what to do ,gave us a map to help with looking around. 
Because we went on a weekend when the Christmas markets was on it was really busy ,all the pubs, shops,and eating places were full day and night,
But a good experience,would like to go back in the summer as the nights are lighter and you can get around to see more.
Would recommend cornerways as near amenities in walking distance , and sue was a very nice and helpful host , the food was really good fruit,cereal,cooked breakfast and tea and toast

We stayed here for three days at the beginning of June, and had a very pleasant stay indeed. The double room, en suite, had the most comfortable bed I’ve slept in in years, firm and big enough for sprawly sleepers. The decor was fresh and there was plenty of room to spread out. The bathroom was large, and had a very impressive shower, that delivered plenty of instant hot water, and had a well designed, quality shower enclosure over the bath, which was also large, and a heated towel rail, as well as loo and hand basin etc. we would definitely stay here again. The hostess was a very nice lady, thank you Sue!

We were very happy with our stay at Cornerways. Sue gave us lots of recommendations, key to the room had a discount tab on some tix & dinners. 
Cornerways is close to the train station & the center of many activities. I was concerned at how close the house was to a busy road,  hospital and road noise however i never found it to be a problem. Parking can be a problem because of the lack of space but a large paid parking lot is directly behind the house.
Our room was small but the bathroom had a very large tub & good water pressure for the shower. The room was cute with a little fireplace but needed some new paint on the walls and a better bathroom door. 
Sue spoiled us with fresh flowers in the room, tea, instant coffee, hot chocolate, a box of chocolates, candies and cookies. A mini fridge outside the room had milk and water bottles that were much appreciated  on our walks. 
We did not eat breakfasts there and preferred the discount. We thought the place was a very good deal. 
I would highly recommend Cornerways BnB and would stay again.

Visit to bath

I have mixed feeling about this place.  
Positives:  Great location with free off-street parking in the back.  Large bathroom 
                   (room 3).  wash cloths!  Good wifi.  Great price.
Cons:  Room 3 is very small.  It was unseasonably hot.  Window opened but no 
            screen.  There was a small (dirty) fan, but nowhere to put it except the floor.  
            This didn't help when trying to sleep.  Pillows not great.  No top sheet.  We did 
            room-only and I'm glad we didn't pay for breakfast as the room was cramped 
           and half filled with storage items.  Sue said it was because they were painting, 
           although a previous review  also mentioned the breakfast room as 
           having a lot of stuff stored in there.
