Home Farmhouse Bed and Breakfast

We stayed at Rosemary's amazing property for 2 nights. Beautiful location, friendly village where everyone makes you feel welcome. 
Rosemary served us with tea and cake on our arrival. A beautiful B & B where you feel like you are stepping back in time, we loved it! Rosemary provides everything you need for your stay, she is a perfect host. 
A good location to attend Silverstone. We used Turweston park and ride which is about 10/15 min drive. We will definitely return.

Set in a lovely village location, This 16th Century ex Farmhouse is very Cosy and Rosemary is very attentive to her guests requirements Breakfast order is taken nightly ready to prepare next morning. The property is a short walk to The Local Post office and Convenience Store and also the Rose and Crown Public House.
Lovely Rural Location but still close enough to commute.

A lovely weekend spent while attending the nearby Aynhoe Park for a wedding. Rosemary was an extremely accommodating host who was most welcoming. Could happily of stayed talking all day! Wedding venue is 5 minutes by car, we left our vehicle at the venue over night and Rosemary was extremely kind offering to drop up back. However we chose to blow the cobwebs out and took the very pleasant 45minute walk to Aynhoe via country footpaths. Very nice! Very comfy room and super breakfast. Gladly recommend.

For anyone who would like to experience their fantasy of living in a beautiful 16C house lovingly furnished and decorated, this is the place to choose. Our room - in the event, three rooms, a double bedroom, dressing room and bathroom were at the top of a short spiral staircase. It was, in effect, a whole floor of a quirky house to ourselves.  

Wonderfully warm and cozy (modern central heating and WiFi though) and delightfully old fashioned in the pleasantest of ways - eiderdowns, slightly uneven floor, a table full of books and a tea tray with teapot, milk jug and biscuits waiting for the guests - we could imagine that we were country house guests between the wars.

Rosemary Grove-White welcomes her guests and takes immense trouble to anticipate any possible needs. 

Breakfast, in the lovely old dining room, is served on a highly polished table and is excellent;  freshly squeezed orange juice, home made fruit compote, whatever cooked breakfast is requested and toast, and all the other traditional bits and pieces make it a very civilised experience. Rosemary joined us with coffee and was so knowledgeable about the locality and such a charming host.  

We had supper at the local pub in the village which was good value for money and is run by a family who know how to provide good service.

If you want to experience English hospitality in wonderful English village stay at Home Farmhouse. The owner and hostess Rosemary was so kind and serviceminded. She welcomed us with tea and a homemade cake. If you are going to for example Aynhoe Park for a wedding or something this is a great place to stay at.

Our host, Rosemary was superb throughout our stay. Nothing was too much trouble for her to accommodate and it was a real pleasure to be made very, very welcome.

The House was built in the early 1600's, so has a historic quirkiness (with unusual staircases, some floors & doors uneven); and quaintness with matching ambience that is so hard to achieve; accompanied by quality period furniture and quality decor to match, yet with all modern conveniences (wi-fi@76Mbps) that made our stay so great. 

It's location is excellent, with Oxford, Stratford-Upon-Avon, Warwick, Bicester and Banbury in easy driving distance. 

Breakfast was exemplary, with arrangements made daily about what the most convenient time was to have it; the type of foods required and how much. Cereals were provided, with fresh-squeezed orange juice & yogurt, accompanied by a fruit compote (made with produce from the garden); along with toast & butter. All served on an exquisite dining service.

If you wish to see a real old-time English home, with quality decor & a superb host, this is for you. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would recommend it wholeheartedly.
