Caretta Apart

We had a great experience with our stay at Caretta. When we arrived we were greeted by friendly staff. When we entered our room we found it to be clean and spacious. 
When we needed assistance from the staff about area services they quickly found solutions. The location is in walking distance to the beach and many restaurants/coffee houses on the coastline. 
Overall we had a very enjoyable stay. We'd stay there again!

Great hotel with extremely helpful and nice personnel. We have spent an extended weekend with my family and friends in Fethiye and selected this hotel. Right from the beginning the communication with the owner - Mr. Can was excellent. It was our first visit of Turkey so we had plenty of questions and he responded all of them. He is a very sociable and funny person. He made us to feel comfortable and content during the whole stay.  

Mr. Can also proposed transportation from - to the airport and car rental for very reasonable price but we have rented cars at the airport so we did use these services. He also provided us with excellent advises regarding the trips, places to visits, great beaches and also good restaurants and patisseries. 

The hotel is in quite part of the town just 10 minute walk from the city beach and  busy part of the town, and also 10 minute walk from the very nice sport park for kids. It is also 10 minute walk from the place where Sunday market takes place. 10 minutes anywhere :-)

The rooms / apartments are spacious, clean and the provided room amenities included all what we needed. The beds in the room are narrower than those I am used to but very comfortable. 

The hotel provides also breakfast with huge selection of different breakfast snacks including the typical Turkish breakfast.  
 
There is also swimming pool, which is actually bigger than that on the Tripadvisor pictures - probably picture of the old one. The new one is of square shape and long enough for swimming. 

We all agreed that the the quality / price ratio is very high. The hotel is really worth the money. What is priceless, is the owner - Mr. Can and his treatment of us as the guests. This was unique and we highly appreciated that. 

As we haven't seen all the places we wanted to visit we will come back to Fethiye one day and definitely we will come back to this hotel. 

We have stayed at the Caretta for many years. The warmth and the friendly welcome from Dr Can and his lovely family and team make it such a special place.
We had a wonderful time with our family and can’t wait to return again next year. Already booked in.

The Caretta is owned by Can who is a wonderful host and can tell you any information you need. If you need anything he is close on hand every day. It's a family established hotel and apartments . We have been here for four years and it feels like coming home. Change of bedding and towels every three days. Wonderful ladies cleaning.

We have been trying to stay here for years but its always been full when we wanted to go, and we now know why! . Finally we got there this year and with a lovely new larger pool and sun beds covers we have a great time.. Large rooms/apartments with air con and safe at no extra charge, great location 5 mins to centre and prom with beach and many restaurants, however you don't need to eat out as the food at the Caretta was always delicious and well presented.
The service and friendliness of the staff was exceptional and most of the guests are regulars who return for these reasons . John is constantly chatting to all his guests with a great sense of humour ,friendship , helpfulness for lots of things and cannot recommend hi enough . Many thanks to John, Mary and family plus all the staff who were brilliant. We cant wait to get back.  Pepper the dog is a real character.

A perfect location that offers very good conditions. The owners are special people, attentive to the needs of tourists.   The beach is very close, and there are many restaurants and shops nearby. I confidently recommend you to come

I stayed there for only 3 nights which is a shame. It is located within few minutes walking distance to Calis beach, market and restaurants. There is a supermarket just across the road. It has got a good size clean swimming pool which is relaxing. Hotel owner is a very charming and loving person. Highly recommended. 

Caretta is always amazing and welcoming! We could never imagine going to turkey and not coming here. Staff are amazing and it feels like joining a family. Highly recommend this place to anyone wanting to get to know the culture of turkey and the people

It is located in walking distance to calis beach. It has spacious rooms with shower, toilet and fully equipped kitchen. There are also a swimming pool and a bar at the garden also. There are many dedicated guests for years from UK and they are all nice families. If you have a car, there are many beaches and natural sceneries just 1 hour radius from the hotel. Beside hotels all facilities, the owner, Mr. Can Tokgozoglu, is doing his all  best to satisfy the guests needs. He is a kind, honest, intellectual and helpful gentlemano, whom you can trust. He has a deep knowledge about the tourist attractions and will help you to find the reasonable prices around. Ant he is the real reason for the hotels high points. I hope he can run the business forever. Thanks for everything. 

We stayed here for three nights and had a exception stay courtesy Dr Can who made our stay truly remarkable. The place has got its own bar swimming pool and the twin room we stayed was like home. Dr Can booked for my paragliding(flygravity) and boat tour (Fulya10) ...both were amazing. Their whole family and staff go out of their way to make your stay comfortable. There is a supermarket next door where in you can stock yourself. The bay is walking distance and the sunset was mesmerizing
All restaurants /ATM are nearby. Exceptional place and need to stay to experience his hospitality. WiFI works intermittently but then its Turk Telecom!!

This lovely family run appt complex which is about 10 mins walk from the town but has amenities to buy basics across the road. 
In Calis the town you can pick boats for a boat trip also 10. Ins walk
The rooms are a mixture of classic and modern, the 1 and 2 bedrooms all have balconies and a lounge come kitchen if you want to cook. The rooms are clean and serviced regularly with sheets and towels. 
There is a lovely pool with sun loungers for sun worshipers and down the steps is the bar which provides food, ice cream and of course drinks.
There is a restaurant for the days you are too tired to walk into Calis which serves Turkish and other food like Italian,English but when in Turkey eat local I say 
The staff are friendly, professional and cannot do enough for you. They have a gsoh and are kind always offering help in anyway they can 
They do expect payment in Stirling, euro or dollar but that is normal in Turkey so don’t be put of or think anything of it
This place is great value for money 

Fabulous little oasis of calm and fun

After booking our 3 night/4 day break at Caretta Apartments in October we called in for a drink to see the location of the Caretta Apartments and were met by the very friendly staff and owner Dr.Jon at the comfortable outdoor bar area. After chatting for a couple of hours we knew that we would enjoy our stay at the Caretta Apartments in November.
The apartment was very clean and modern overlooking the distant mountains from the balcony.
The apartment had air con/heating which was excellent as the evenings in November become quite chilly. The comfortable double bedroom had a large duvet and nice soft pillows with an extra blanket if required.....there was also a lockable cupboard in the wardrobe in which to keep our valuables.
Having stayed in Calis Beach a great many times in hotels it was a very pleasant change to stay at Caretta Apartments and we both said how clean and friendly the Caretta Apartments are.
We would definitely be returning  to stay with our new found friends at Caretta Apartments again in the future....it really is a gem of a place to stay.
