1110 reviewsAn absolute gem of a resort - is is the flashiest or most modern? No. But I knew this before going, and wanted a more authentic experience - not a place crowded with “influencers”. I booked a beach bungalow - the bungalow itself had everything we needed for a comfortable 9 nights stay. The decor is a little dated but the bed was very comfortable! Our bungalow was cleaned daily (apart from a couple of days we asked the cleaner not to bother as it was still clean from the previous day, we were still provided clean towels, complimentary bottled water and toilet paper). Tea/coffee, kettle, mugs provided in the room as well as some toiletries. The pool is large, clean and had plenty of sun loungers but we only used it once as we loved the beach so much! The beach made this trip truly special. To open the door and see the beautiful clear water was wonderful. It’s great for swimming and taking a stroll past the other resorts (where bars and restaurants welcome walk in guests too!). Plenty sun loungers and not overly crowded, very safe. There is also a beach bar where you can order drinks and food from 11.30am until around 7pm - the pad Thai was delicious! We had breakfast included and were pleasantly surprised. There is an egg station where you can order eggs how you like - omelette, scrambled etc. Hot dishes vary - including some Thai rice/noodle dishes each day but also bacon, cold meats, sausage etc. fresh fruit, bread, pastries every day. A selection of jams, butter, honey and of course tea, coffee and juices. There is a 24 hour Tops Daily store just 1 minute walk from reception which is well stocked with anything you could need. Other restaurants and bars nearby and further up the street in both directions. Overall we had a fantastic stay and absolutely would stay again. The staff were so welcoming, even the gardening/maintenance staff would smile and say good morning. We can’t wait to visit again in future
