Hotel Bildungszentrum Sunnahof

The best part of this beautiful, peaceful location in a 500-year old restored building was the proprietor, Dr. Viviane Girardier. She could not have been more helpful before and during the trip, right up to the end. She is warm and friendly and always attempting to please her clients. Her personal concern, service, and assistance really made our 4 days there enjoyable to the max. And the awesome mountains and rivers, cable cars and windy roads didn't hurt to make this a place I would return to in a heartbeat. It's not a 5-star hotel in a classic, fancy sense, but it sure is in terms of a get-away vacation paradise. In the surrounding area, there is more quaintness, beauty, history, and even geology. You'd have to stay for months to see it all! But if you don't want peace & quiet and countryside, well...this might not be the place for you. There is nothing negative I can say; we liked everything...everything about this out-of-the-way, but perfectly hospitable place was wonderful. If you want to see the Switzerland of movie fame and experience country hospitality, this is the place. Have a great time! And don't forget to go over the borders to Liechtenstein and on to Feldkirch, Austria, both of which are quaint and good to experience from a tourist point of view.
