We stayed here for 2 days in the fall holiday. It was an apartment complex called 'flora'. We stayed on the 4th floor, and had a balcony overlooking Lago Magiore. It is the nicest apartment we have stayed in -clean, really nice kitchen (modern with lots of glasses, cubes for the dishwasher etc), good beds etc. It is 10 minutes from 'downtown' Locarno, so very convenient. Only downside is noise from the road, scooters etc. that is the price you 'pay' for staying central. That is the only reason I would not give 5 stars.
