9 reviewsWe stayed on Saturday and Sunday nights. It was ideally placed for doing the first two days of the Via Alpina, from Vaduz to Mels and then onwards to Alp Vorsiez. New owners since early 2017, so earlier reviews should be discounted. Be prepared for the following: no-one is at reception when you arrive, you have to call a number to get a code which unlocks the box with your room keys inside. Although it's called a Hotel Restaurant there is no restaurant. There is a breakfast room only. Unfortunately no restaurants in the town were open on either night we were there. Fortunately we arrived early enough to buy supplies at the nearby supermarket, and found the room well set up for self-catering, with glasses, a coffee machine and enough chairs and table space. The room was really attractive, with carved wood ceilings and cupboards, lots of space, modern bathroom and comfortable bed. It was clean. Good wifi. Breakfast was copious and delicious and in addition we were offered cooked eggs and extra coffee. I'd stay there again.
