This Hotel desperately needs an updated review! It has been revamped and modernised to an excellent standard for what is the lowest cost hotel we could find in the area for a couple of nights stay. It is one of the nicest and well appointed Hotels we have stayed in in many countries over the last fifty years including several in Switzerland. It is good value for money with a warm and friendly welcome, very good menu delivering a fine variety of well cooked and presented tasty meals. The rooms are traditional Swiss with the use of wood in a variety of original and pleasing ways that extends throughout the whole property, The beds were amongst the most comfortable Hotel beds we have experienced and we slept soundly though it has to be said that the main road traffic might disturb a light sleeper. Lots to do in the area and the literature stock for attractions is well stocked. Toilet and shower facilities are a little cramped but not to the extent that we would complain! This hotel is good value, comfortable and a great base for trips.
