I found this hotel absolutely wonderful. The location is perfect—just over 10 minutes’ walk from the Casino, but up on the hill so it’s quiet and away from the noise. There’s also a bus that stops literally at the front door if you don’t feel like walking. The rooms are just right for a 3-star hotel, with very comfortable beds. We did miss having air conditioning since it was a very hot week, but that’s quite normal in Switzerland—private homes and even many public places (like the airport) don’t have it. Luckily, the large windows let in plenty of fresh air at night, so sleeping wasn’t a problem. Breakfast was excellent and varied. But what really makes this place special is the kindness and hospitality of the staff. Thank you, Paolo and team—you made us feel at home and always went above and beyond, surprising us with thoughtful touches. All in all, a wonderful hotel in a wonderful location, with unbeatable value for money. Highly recommended!
