Hotel Restaurant zum Bergführer

We stayed in this small hotel in Elm in March 2021 (during the coronavirus pandemic). The room was spacious and looked to have been recently renovated. The room had a modern and charming feel with lovely wooden beams and a few mountaineering decorations. We also had a small balcony with a great view of the mountains. The hotel is not in the centre of Elm, but Elm is not very big so it is only a short walk (on a road) to the town centre and the gondolas up the mountain. The owners were accommodating to our needs, we had wanted to have our evening meal from the restaurant in our rooms, but in the end we ate in the restaurant as it was not busy. Breakfast was typical for Swiss hotels but done well, the evening meals we had were very tasty 3 course meals, for a very reasonable price. One of the nicest hotels I have stayed in while in Switzerland. If I was in the area I would definitely stay here again.
