We had seen that this hotel was being renovated when walking in the valley during the pandemic. When walking nearby we met and chatted to a lovely older lady whose family it belongs to and resolved to come back. Everything about the hotel was perfect in out estimation; a warm welcome to a traditional but sympathetically modernised interior. It seemed popular with the locals as much as for us visitors. Food and wine in the restaurant were delicious, rooms comfortable and well appointed. Oh, and free pass for the PostBus for the duration of our stay! Good to know for the next time; hopefully soon!
