I recently had the pleasure of staying at MerrLand Beach Villa in Negombo, Sri Lanka. It was at the end of a long travel stint, and I was sad at having to return home. However, the week I spent at MerryLand Beach Villa really soothed my soul. The staff were wonderful - especially the dashing Hotel Manager and Chef, who made sure I was well fed and looked after throughout my time there. The Villa is right on the beach and also a short walk to shops and restaurants, meaning I didnt have to get any form of public transport unless I wanted to. The locals are fabulous and its so close to the airport (but far enough away that you dont get disturbed by the air traffic). I loved it so much I am hoping to return at some point during my next travels, especially if the food and service is as amazing! Thank you to everybody at MerryLand for making my last week in Sri Lanka the best one <3
