We stayed here for the last night of our holiday as it was so close to the airport. But what a shame it wasn’t for longer! What a. beautiful place!! Such an oasis of calm and beauty!
We received a lovely welcome from the owner and his family who couldn’t be kinder. Lovely spacious room, clean with air conditioning and a great shower!
Tasty freshly cooked rice and curry and a sumptuous breakfast!
Highly recommend this lovely homestay!

We stayed here for one night whilst touring , we were welcomed straight away by the owner. The rooms were clean and very comfortable with mosquito nets for the beds , the food here was beautiful and if there was anything we needed , the staff would go out of their way to get it, nothing was too much trouble , this was a family run villa and very friendly and accommodating.

A beautiful oasis run by a really lovely family. I spent a lot of money on an upmarket but soulless Airbnb apartment when I arrived in SriLanka then found out about Randoni Villa where I stayed before leaving. It won ‘hands down’!! The family who run it are very kind and generous and went well out of their way to make my stay comfortable and enjoyable, from mosquito coils and organising transport to serving me courtesy pots of tea and allowing my son and I to hang out by the pool until it was time to go to the airport. The surroundings are lush. You wouldn’t believe that you were in Colombo. Oh, and the food is as everyone says…..delicious. When I return to Colombo I won’t consider anywhere else. 

We chose to stay at this property due to its proximity to the airport, and what a lovely family run business it is.  All aspects of this stay were perfect for us, with all the amenities we required, our hosts were attentive and super friendly and could not do enough for us.  The dinner they prepared for us was one of the best curries we had during our stay in Sri Lanka and we would highly recommend this property for any one either looking for the convenience of the airport or just a tranquil haven to relax and unwind.  Thank you so much for looking after us both, we will return.

We stayed here for one night at the start of our Sri Lanka tour. The hosts were friendly and cooked us delicious dinner and breakfast (still among the best food we have had two weeks into the trip!). Nice to have a dip in the pool and a cool place by the river!

Very close indeed to the airport - we could hear the planes - is a sizeable area of marshy land bounded by a sluggish river, on whose other bank lies this modern and gorgeous villa.  We found it by chance, and at the last minute and count ourselves very lucky.  Only three(?) rooms here but a lovely-looking pool, lots of trees around the place, and an attractive dining area next to the open kitchen and servery.  The room was very large, a 'family room' with one huge and one small bed, colourful decor (as with the entire property), and a large semi-open bathroom with somewhat sparse hot water.  All was clean.  We had a very warm welcome from the staff who may have been family of the owner whom we also met.  Car parking seems not to be an issue.  We had an excellent rice and curry dinner and 'local' breakfast.  I can't imagine a better antidote to jetlag on arrival, or to frenetic Sri Lankan travel on departure, than an overnight here. Excellent place.

Food was fresh and homemade, we were treated to so many different curries, it was authentic and amazing.  This was definitely a great start to our trip.
The villa has a few room which makes it nice and personable, swimming pool was nice and refreshing.
The room was a decent size, clean and comfortable.  One thing to be aware of is the shower and toilet was outside but all enclosed and private.  It was quite refreshing to have shower outside due to the heat.

We started and ended our holidays at Villa Randoni with Ananda and his family (wife and daughters). We had the absolutely best curry and rice from our trip.  Ananda and his family are very helpfull and attentionate. Don't hesitate to come here - highly recommended!! 

We were treated with such amazing hospitality by this beautiful family. We will be back. Food fabulous, rooms comfy, pool clean and right at our door. Randoni means golden daughters and 
Anandas family are gorgeous. Talented they speak great English and are great cooks. 

We stayed here for one night only before moving on to the rest of our tour. But what a lovely start to our holiday in Sri Lanka. The service was exceptional and friendly, the food was lovely, the rooms were clean, spacious and well appointed and the location was absolutely superb. I can't say too much more because it was such a short stay but I would highly recommend this fantastic place.

This tranquil little spot is ideal for the airport being a 10 minute drive away, the accommodation is clean and spacious with everything provided.  A few things could do to be update e.g. the mosquito net over the bed had several holes in it and a tap in the bathroom had a handle missing but otherwise nothing to complain about for the price.  The dinner that was cooked for us was delightful with plenty of food more than could be eaten.  We would definitely recommend this property with a lovely cooling plunge pool and located on a meandering river with all the associated bird and wildlife and will definitely come back.

My family of four stayed at Randoni Villa for our first stop in Sri Lanka - we had picked it for its proximity to the airport but realized very quickly the calm paradise it was. It was beautiful, serene and clean and the family that runs it is lovely. My children had fun playing in the pool and we also enjoyed the lovely meals. The large room we had was clean and functional. As we were getting to it we were concerned because it’s a bit on a dirt road off the main road but the property is on a nice stream of water. Highly recommend and we would stay here again.

Wonderful guest house

This hotel was one of the best that we visited in Srilanka. Although the location was a bit out of the way, it was worth it as there was a lovely pool and nice rooms. The bathroom was especially exciting as there was even a tree inside it! The service was amazing since the hotel is owned by a kind family who looked after us well and the breakfast we were given was also great. I would definitely recommend this hotel as it is a cheap but relaxing place to stay and is also close to the airport!
