Lake View Holiday Bungalow

We stayed here as a family of three for a night. We loved the place. Situated high up above the town of Nuwara Eliya, it gives you superb views of the lake and the mountains and houses fringing it. Since there are only a few rooms (perhaps less than ten, totally), service is personalised. We spent a good part of our stay in our balcony, enjoying the chill and the view. The chef served us a wonderful meal for dinner - he made it totally Sri Lanka, the way we wanted it. And since we had to leave early the next morning, he even packed breakfast for us. This place is small, note you. So, it does not have some of the appointments of a proper hotel. But if you are looking for cozy comfort of a high order, couple with good service and relaxing views, this is a yummy place. Finding this hotel was tricky for us, since it is tucked away somewhere in a winding road, with no great signboards. :)
