Royal Mount Hotel

We spent 2 nights at this lovely hotel. It was super clean, quiet and we had use of the kitchen if we wanted to keep our food and to cook if we wanted to. Our room was spacious and there was a lovely sitting area where you could relax and even watch tv downstairs if you did not want to watch tv in your room. The host Shifan was very helpful in giving us tips for what to do and where to go while visiting Nuwara Eliya. The take away breakfast was very nice as we hiked up to Horton Plains and World End very early in the morning. The full breakfast was delicious the second morning on our day of check out. We were asked what time we would like breakfast and it was so large there was no way we could eat it all. There is a kettle in your room for boiling water if you want to make your own tea or coffee. The staff are friendly and always had a smile on their faces. We stumbled upon this place by accident and are very glad we stayed here. You will enjoy the friendly staff and the clean quiet place.
