Hotel Vinali

If you are just planning on staying in Tissa to enable you go to Yala then this is an ideal hotel. It is a 300 rupee ride in to Tissa-but there isn't much there anyway! We only managed to find one restaurant open! The hotel is on the main bus route if you're catching the bus to your next location. The staff couldn't be more helpful if they tried and made us feel very welcome. Breakfast was included and these were packed up for us on both morning. Breakfast was 2 sausages, omelette and bread. One morning we had breakfast ready at 4.15 and the other at 6! The staff helped us sort out our next bus journey and even walked us to the bus stop so they could tell the conductor where we wanted to go. Wifi worked in the reception/sitting area but not very well in the rooms. Rooms were basic but clean. Aircon was good. Plenty of room for bags and things. If you are going to Yala and just need a cheap and cheerful hotel which is great value for money I would definitely recommend it.
