High Grove Bungalow

Highgrove is a splendid, once-in-a-lifetime experience: the best in our 3 weeks long journey across Sri Lanka, where we stayed mostly install, upmarket heritage hotels. The bungalow, the location among the tea estates, the service, the team led by Johnson, the food, the atmosphere, the attention to details were superb. One can one be grateful that the owners- a business family from Colombo - decided to refurbish, re-launch and protect this historical cottage near Newark Eliya. Its view over the valley is unforgettable, the decor is perfect, the feeling is not of a hotel but of a private, luxury mansion where then owners have kindly accepted to have guess. We can only recommend this incredible, serene, peaceful place to anyone who is looking for something different, better, higher. Thank you again manager Johnson, you are doing a fantastic job and being your guests has been a privilege.
