Arrived and place looked pretty dingy, curtains were constantly drawn. 

We were the only people staying there and the guy at reception woke us up at 2am playing the bongos, not something which would normally annoy us but we had a early start the next morning. 

Bathroom had a bar of soap containing every body hair on, mould and damp in bedroom. 

Breakfast was basic and WiFi awful. 

Our second night we were woken throughout the night by a rat in our room. 

Staff were friendly and offered us tea on arrival. 

Did not enjoy 

Was lots of backpackers here which was great for meeting people and hanging around together. For me that was the only positive. Rooms were very damp, funny smell in bathroom, bathroom was dirty, sheets were dirty and damp. Had a power cut so I couldn't take a warm shower and nuwara eliya is pretty cold compared to other parts of Sri Lanka. 

OK, at best!

We stayed here for only one night and that was enough. The dorm was okay and basic, but we had to share the filthy bathroom with at least 12 people. We were not offered a towel, we had to ask for it. The floors were very dirty. The staff did not speak proper English, it was hard to communicate with them. They close the gate at 10pm, make sure you are back by that time or it will be very hard to contact them to get back in, there is no doorbell or anything. The public area is pretty okay and the WiFi is working. 

Basic but not very clean

Good location and very friendly people. The rooms itself aren't really special, little bit of a smell in the room. Breakfast is basic but for the price not bad. Wifi was very slow at moments. Overall good value for the price.

Good for its price

Not what I expected. Not what you seen in pics. Breakfast was okay. According to what I pay I could find better place. Heater wasn't work. It was so cold inside roooms. Have to go too inside to find hostel. 

Okay for a stay with friend 

Arriving here was quite nice, big room and seemed to be alright. But breakfast isnt any  good. Showers are quite cold. Staff does not really understand English. Wifi is okish. Can get quite noisy, even though not many people are here. I guess there are much better places around.
