A cozy place in "Little Britain" near the Pedro tea factory. Clean and well equipped room. Nice family. Host Christopher is very nice. I had a nice chat with him. I was very happy here even though the weather was not beautiful.

We had a really nice stay at Pedro View guest House (already one year ago!) ! they are really nice people!! They cooked a really nice diner for us despite the fact that we forget to book the diner! And we could follow the preparation of diner! we learned a lot about sri-lankan food and cooking! it was delicious and enormous for only the 4 of us!!! They also had a really nice suggestion for a walk to the lovers leap waterfall that is close to their place! it was an amazing walk at sunset in the middle of the tea plantations!! Thanks again!

Lovely Homestay Experience, run by a lovely Husband & Wife team. Very neat and clean rooms especially bathroom is very clean. House is very well maintained with lot of flowers. 
Need to ask for directions once you are near the destination. Market is little away.

Situated at almost the highest point of Sri Lanka amongst tea plantations, a short tuk tuk ride from the centre of Nuwara Eliya. Very clean, extremely comfortable, good hearty breakfast and very welcoming hosts. Highly recommended.

A lovely homestay run by a knowledgeable and friendly couple. 

The homestay is away from the center of Nuwara Eliya, but it is located right by the Pedro Tea Farm and Lover's leap Waterfall.

Travellers should note that the climate of Nuwara Eliya is much cooler than other parts of Sri Lanka, so pack for that part of your stay accordingly!

Very nice family, very helpful. The food excellent, one of the beat meals we have had in Sri Lanka. The WiFi was very good. Good location, very easy to get a tuk tuk and walking distance from lovers leap waterfall. 
The downstairs room had bad smell of drains and the bathroom was very basic 

We only had one night in Nuwara Eliya.  The idea of staying at the Grand Hotel was appealing but it made no sense to spend so much money.  

The guesthouse is situated near a busy road.  The bus stop is right up the street.  The Pedro Tea Factory is a short walk away.

The owners live on the ground floor.  Guestrooms are upstairs.  We had an en suite bathroom but our friends had to use the "shared" restroom down the hall.  Guests have use of the living room.  A balcony off the living room has views of the tea plantation and road.

Furnishings are very basic and traditional.  We initially wondered why there were 4 layers of blankets on the beds.  The temps must have dropped 20 degrees farenheit overnight because we used all 4 blankets.

The hot water heaters in the showers worked fast once you figured out how to turn them on.  The water tank in the toilet had to be manipulated a few times throughout the night because the water kept running.

If you are a light sleeper, ask for a room that does not face the main road. 

The hosts are very friendly.  We enjoyed a delicious dinner and nice continental breakfast. There are no restaurants nearby.  Family photos are proudly displayed in the living room.

This homestay is in a great location! Walking distance to the Pedro Tea Factory and Lover's Leap Waterfall. It is literally surrounded by the tea plantation. We chose the half-board option and were not disappointed! The breakfast was good and the dinner was outstanding! The room was clean and the bed was very comfortable. The Wifi worked well in the room and common area. Definitely can recommend a stay at Pedro View. 

If you are a light sleeper, you may find the area a bit noisy at night with dogs barking and loud vehicles. The private bathroom that was listed in the details was down a hall from our room and anyone had access to it.

Beautiful situation

Location of the homestay is good, next to tea factory , which you can visit. 
From there you can have a nice walk to lovers leap. 
View is beautiful, Wifi very good. Breakfast is average, but diner was excellent.
The room is very, very basic and the bathroom was cold and humid, and the shower was also very basic.. The watertank in the toilet had to be manipulated after every use. There is no isolation on the windows, so you can hear every sound on the street.
Although the owner and his wife were very helpful and friendly, I would not recommend this homestay if you don’t like the cold. There is no heating in the room or in the house in general. No heating at all because electricity was too expensive, according to the owner. This area is very cold , and heating is really needed. Even the owner’s wife wore a winter jacket and a cap in her own house! I must say, the fact that it was so cold inside really dominated our stay, and we were glad to leave and go to Ella.
