Hidden amongst other buildings, but slightly elevated is this colonial era house where previous prime ministers and ministers have stayed. The property is owned by Wolfgang (we didn’t meet) and managed by Majeed. We had the whole bungalow to ourselves. There are four bedrooms all with en suite bathrooms and a lounge with good tv and a fireplace that is lit upon request. We felt right at home and Majeed and his team did an exceptional job of looking after us. There is a lovely terrace to enjoy a drink outside and a vast array of vegetables growing amongst the terraced hillside (worth a 5 min discovery walk). Breakfast was great and the dinner we had delicious (egg and potato curry, chicken curry, salads; etc.). The kids enjoyed the food.
