Me and my family visited this beautiful city for 2 weeks and my mom was thinking of starting her very own restaurant down here, she didn’t doe I just thought she falled in love with the city of Sri Lanka. This is the new Thailand, because Thailand is dead. The Sri Lanka people are way to friendly and they help you with everything. If it’s cheap? You will catch the best Asian spicy food from lovely cooks for less then €2. But if you smoke cigarettes you are done because they sell them at the supermarket for “only” €10-15. Or you can buy them “under the table” at any store for about €8-10. I also recommend you to visit the turtle park south of Negombo. They take care of all the turtles that been hurt because of all the light problems. First I felt bad for the poor turtles but since I spoke to the workers here, they really do care about them and it’s not about the money. Because 90% goes do a turtle foundation.
