192 reviewsWe stayed for 3 nights and occupied 2 spacious rooms with large, connecting balconies. The rooms were clean, strong a/c and good warm water. Mirissa is our favorite beach, pristine and breathtaking. We couldn't have picked a better place to soak in this brilliant strip of beach than Mirissa Bay Resort. Breakfast, lunch, and dinner were literally on the beach! We made the booking with Gayuru, who was courteous and helpful. He showed us our rooms on arrival and inquired if it was up to expectation. Isuru, was our main server throughout. There wasn't a local delicacy or cocktail he wasn't able to deliver with a smile! The rest of the restaurant staff were equally good. The food was exceptional! We had fresh fish daily and even our rather fussy kids enjoyed the cuisine! Lastly, I must mention the manager Mr. Samarawickrema. He is relatively new to the hospitality trade, but it is evident that he makes a great effort to ensure the comfort of all his guests and even his staff. He is constantly on-site and ever willing to assist. Thank you for the lovely experience and we look forward to coming back!
