Villa Hiriketiya

We have visited Sri Lanka often and this time decided to stay for 4 weeks and base ourselves out of just one location, Villa Hiriketiya. We had seen the place a couple of times before when visiting Hiriketiya and it looked just right for us. We were not disappointed. The rooms are spacious and clean. Bathrooms are "wetrooms" and we really like that. Swimming pool and gardens were well maintained and the pool was always clean and perfect to cool down in. WiFi worked throughout our stay and was more than adequate. The reality is as good as if not better than the photos. Mali and her family who look after the place day to day were super friendly, helpful and professional, we genuinely miss them. We had friends who also stayed for 2 weeks in an adjacent room to us. It was their first trip ever outside of Europe. They commented that this was now their favourite place in the world. Communication with Stefan, the owner was easy and clear. Highly recommend and would certainly stay again. Thanks to Stefan, Mali and her lovely family!
