Apartamentos el Pilar

I was a guest in this establishment in February 2015. It is located within 5 min walk from Angel Guimera tube station, direct line from Airport. It is a private apartment not a hotel with reception so make sure you advise them by email exact time of your arrival. The owner is a very friendly person. And so is his assistant and English person who cleans the rooms. I arrived with my daughter. I was concerned it might be cold without heating. He set air con on 30 degrees for me straight away, not every apt owner is happy to do it! I am a very fussy person and I said it still might be cold in the smaller bedroom. He brought a heater for me. Excellent service! Half way thru my stay they brought a cleaner in to change towels and bed linen and clean the flat, very thorough clean! Location: good walking distance to the centre, bus 2 to seaside. Otherwise 5 or 10 euro for a taxi... What I did not like: well if you are a couple it' fine I suppose even romantic but with children spiral staircase and no lift might prove difficult but they will help you with suitcases... Second point also minor -no rack for draining dishes. But furniture is new, flat is warm, rooms are cosy and they give you what others don' like dishwashing liquid and soap and shower gel. Enjoy...
