I was the only guest, and arrived at about 7pm to be met by the owner, who then personally escorted me to a remote parking spot I never would have otherwise found. The hotel is part of the historic facade that rings the cobbled Plaza, and is reached through a labyrinthine series of passageways from the first floor and up. My room was very basic which is exactly what I had ordered. The owner had thoughtfully switched the heating on, but I think the solid stone walls did a great job by themselves and I didn't need it despite almost freezing overnight temps. En suite was a bonus for such a simple room. And did I say...I paid just 20 Euros. Amazing!
