If you want a holiday destination where you can really unwind then Finca El Azahar is the place to head for, rurally located on a hillside with wonderful views of the surrounding area and the air filled with bird song along with the distant light tinkle of grazing sheep bells you can’t help but relax into nature. The wonderful staff all make it their goal for you to enjoy your stay and are so helpful. We dined at the Finca for 5 nights of our 7 night stay and every meal was a delight that we both thoroughly enjoyed, the local produce & specialities are mouthwatering. The ancient town of Trujillo is a 15 minute drive away and is a magical place to explore, it’s breathtaking elevated Castle has been used in a number of hit TV series but around every corner there is outstanding architecture. There are also a number of walks from the doorstep of the Finca which are ideal as a morning/evening birdwatching stroll with an abundance of different species. We both look forward to our return to Finca El Azahar.
