Very good
2642 reviewsWe travelled on 28 February 2025 and were lucky to stay in a peaceful 6th floor room with spectacular city views. It had a private terrace with a hot tub, two sun loungers, two chairs and a table. The city views from the terrace and swimming pool were amazing (see photos). After sightseeing all day it was bliss to be able to soak in the hot tub and have a siesta on the loungers in the sunshine. So peaceful and relaxing especially looking at the stars at night. The room was perfect for us. Compact but comfortable, clean, light and airy. The bed was extra large and with comfortable bedding. The pillows were a bit too firm for us but after walking all day we soon fell to sleep on them and slept really well. The heavy duty black out curtains helped too. The bathroom had two sinks, a toilet obviously, a bonus bidet, a bath, a power shower, complimentary toiletries, bathrobes, slippers and fluffy towels. If you need a hairdryer, take your own. The lighting was great. There was plenty of wardrobe space for clothes and two cases. There was a safe A dressing table against the window was handy but didn't have a mirror so I was glad that I had taken my travel mirror. There was a kettle with a couple of teabags, coffee sachets, sugar and mini milk pots. This came in handy due to the downstairs bar being closed, possibly due to the time of year. We wished we had remembered to take teabags and coffee with us. There were two designer Klimt climate control units in the room but we didn't need them. The dining room is very noisy and overwhelming at peak breakfast times but that is to be expected. There was lots to choose from but we had what we usually have at home. Muesli with fruit, freshly squeezed orange juice, coffee, warm fresh bread with jam or tomatoes. It set is up for the day. We tried the buffet dinner on the first night due to being tired from travelling, it was raining and we hadn't got our bearings. It wasn't to our taste so we made sure that we ate at local restaurants for the rest of the week. Nearby restaurant Braxas is a little gem. Don Paco is undergoing renovations but it is still a nice hotel with spotless communal areas and friendly staff. The area is quiet and everywhere is accessible on foot. The Alcazar was my favourite, followed by Triana. I also loved the Flamenco show at Las Setas on my birthday but not as much as the street performers that we saw at La Plaza de España. We loved Seville and would stay at the Don Paco again.
