Iberostar Selection Llaut Palma - Adults Only

Overall this hotel is excellent. It is spotlessly clean, the facilities are very good and the service is first rate. Staff are helpful, efficient and friendly. We found the rooms extremely comfortable. There are plenty of sun loungers and the pool area is kept very clean. The food in the main buffet restaurant is extremely high quality. The cold food is extremely fresh and with plentiful choice. The hot food was of excellent quality although there was maybe slightly less choice than we have had at other similar hotels. We felt there were some small things that could be improved: the breakfast was aimed more at the taste of German tourists rather than Brits, they could add some British style pork sausages and some better teabags to the breakfast (the English breakfast teabags were too weak and you needed two or three of them to make a proper cup of tea). Take your own teabags if this is important to you. Secondly, the poolside music was poor, mainly heartbreak ballads, to the point where we wondered if the person responsible for choosing it was going through something personal! Some more cheerful music would create a better vibe. Lastly, we stayed Mon-Thurs and the midweek evening entertainment was of variable quality and poorly attended, so there was a slight lack of ambience and it was a little quiet. Rock night was excellent though. And we would still return despite these small issues. Before travelling we read many reviews complaining about lack of direct access to the beach but we did not find it at all problematic to walk the short distance to the beach.
