6 reviewsGreat location just outside the little town of San Vicente de la Barquera on the Cantabrian coast. Very popular with British touring caravans & motorhomes as its only a short drive from the ferry port at Santander. Very peaceful setting with access to a small beach about a 15 minute walk from the back of the property. We stayed in a wooden chalet with 2 bedrooms, fully equipped kitchen, small shower room, seating area and terrace. Parking for one car right outside the chalet which was great for unloading. Pet friendly. Good English spoken. Shop onsite that carried essentials. Well priced evening meal in the restaurant, although the breakfast the following day a bit pricey for what was served. No movement of vehicles within the site between midnight & 8am. No staff on duty to open the barrier until 9am, so if you need an early start, settle your bill the night before departure, and park on the other side of the barrier. Poor wifi
