We stayed for the weekend by mid-September. The location is great and the hotel is really nice. Special remarks for the restaurant, we really enjoyed our two dinners there. The hotel manager was always willing to help and paying attention to every single detail. We'll come back!

We booked this Hotel as it was close to the WSB meeting, ,  We are so happy we did , its beautiful, very clean ,very  friendly  and in a very quite place, , The food is nice, nothing is to much trouble ,  Just Perfect , will be back next year ,,

Nice and very peaceful in country. Kindness and confort. Matarranya and rafales are a countryside very beauty. Good kitten and scenery in the village near morella, Calaceit,  queretes and tinensa Benifassà mountains

We spent a couple of days in Rafales in July. We didn't stay at this hotel but did visit the olive museum located at the same premises. Carmen, the hotel owner, was kind enough to patiently guide us through the museum and then show us what her hotel has to offer. We were impressed both by the character of the place and Carmen's charming personality. She speaks fluent English and comes across as a warm and nice host. The hotel restaurant is particularly impressive. It's a beautifully restored ex olive mill with the oil making equipment tastefully integrated in the design, a perfect setting for a romantic dinner. A big indoor pool with a spacious lawn around it makes this hotel a family friendly place. So, whether you are a couple or a family with kids this place could be what you are looking for.

We stayed for just few days in this cute countryside hotel, we didn't have many expectations by the way, but it really surprised us in a really nice way. In our trip to Spain, from Madrid to Barcelona we looked for a quiet and unique place a bit far from the tourist masses, and by chance we found it. 
To begin with, the owners speak English and that was very helpful, and they are also willing to help you out in anything from making you feel like at home to finding and exploring in the beautiful region La Matarrana.
The pool was a plus, my kids love it,-ages 5 and 8- specially was great around siesta time, when it was so hot and we had no energy to walk around.
The food was very good, we very much enjoyed to local products, the cheese, the jamon and the amazing wine!
I would definitively recommend it to someone who is traveling around Spain, from Madrid to Barcelona, and want to relax for a few days.

We were celebrating our 70th birthday with a  "Menu degustación" and it was really a very enjoyable celebration. Conchita, the cook, gave us 7 diferent dishes 3 fish, 1 veggie, 2 meat and dessert. She, the "Queen of flavours", presented all the plates with a magnificient look and fantastic combination of flavours, every dish known but new in all extent. Fantastic experience very recomendable to all who love eating. Luis the Manager is very kind person always ready to help
