Apartamentos Miami Gran Canaria

We have just came back from a fabulous 7 night stay at the Miami Apartments. After reading bad reviews about check in, I was worried. Nothing to be worried about and don’t listen to people who said “you are stranded on the street!” We got straight in at around 10.30pm and they have a self service check in. Security also come round and double check everything is ok. The apartments themselves are super secure with a security door at reception that needs to be opened with a key. I have never felt more safe in apartments in all my years being on holiday. We booked a swim up room and wow, could not fault it at all. The apartment was spacious, spotless and modern. Beds were super comfy. Plenty of stuff for self catering but we ate out every night. The cleaners could not do enough. She was super efficient and always left the room spotless! The only downside was the apartment only gets the afternoon sun from around 1pm onwards. We were lucky enough to be in an end apartment which had a walk way around to the ledge at the back of the pool which gets sun from around 10.30am, so we sat there til it reached the sun beds. It’s approx a 10 minute walk from the commercial centre where all the bars and restaurants are. A taxi back along at night time will cost around €4 which we did every night but i’ve never felt unsafe there. It was also a 5-10 minute walk to Puerto Rico beach. You can see the beach from your balcony/terrace. I would definitely stay here again, we already can’t wait to come back. Thanks to all the staff at the Miami for a wonderful, peaceful stay!
