Hotel BelleVue Club

Writing this review after spending 2 weeks here 21st July - 3rd August We booked with love holidays and was for a studio and 1 bed apartment. I emailed the hotel prior to arriving requesting rooms close by as was under the one booking. We were given Minerva 2 and Ceres 2 which was disappointing but after a couple of days we found shortcuts so wasn’t so bad. The rooms are basic but clean and great air con. The ceres 1 bed apartment over looked the pool and was peaceful. The Minerva studio over looked the noisy strip and due to it being a large hotel was very noisy especially of a night. Ear plugs were needed. The rooms in both blocks have very thin walls and could hear the tv’s, coughing, snoring and talking from the adjoining rooms. We had frequent cleaner visits and provided with fresh towels and toilet rolls. The beds were made but not with clean sheets. The pools are amazing and the kids loved the Fedra and Diana pools. The adults loved the Leda pool. The foam party on the Monday was great and a must whilst there. As for sun loungers they are a joke at Leda and noticed beds reserved all day yet no one went on them. Security did remove towels on 2 of the days but was inconsistent. The lifeguards are all very good and were quick to assist when our 10 year old fell and landed on his face which resulted in 2 broken teeth. Please be very careful as tiles are very slippy when wet. They are worse at Fedra pool. The food is typical for all inclusive but edible. We were in main restaurant and found out the restaurant in Leda had a much better range of food. The restaurant however lacks staff as finding a clean table was a challenge and would have to clear it away yourself. The snack bars are great and was a big hit for the kids. We booked all inclusive but were not able to book into black and white or Mexican. We ate out at champions on 2 evenings and was very tasty with very big portions. The kids club was great and they take the kids on treasure hunts. Water slides, playground etc. Crazy golf on site is good value and good fun. The fair was also a hit for the kids too. Take money as it’s not cheap. Entertainment in the evening was ok but could have been better. The queues for the bar is ridiculous and we ended up taking our own drinks of an evening. Location of the hotel is great and right on the strip. Beach is under 10 mins away. We walked to the Marina twice and got a put put back for 28 euros. Only takes about 40 mins walk and well worth it. Mozzies are a pain and even with mozzie bands, mozzie spray and citronella candles we were still eaten alive. They are rife at the evening entertainment. I bought my partner a mozzie watch off Temu and he only had 1 bite so worth looking at them as my Amazon ones made no impact and I was bitten almost daily. Lucky lucky men are very friendly especially Eddie and they don’t pressure you into buying from them. Just say no thanks and they will go. The hair braiders are annoying and don’t take no for an answer. Also witnessed them using the toilets and not washing hands after!! They also hover round the toilets asking you to get them food from snack bar. I said no and walked off when asked. We were worried before coming here after reading all the reviews. But honestly we had a great time and yes we would return. You get what you pay for and it was money well spent.
