We stayed 2 nights at the end of a wonderful tour of Galicia. The house is gorgeous and with beautiful gardens set on the outskirts of Ourense in peaceful countryside. The photos really don't do it justice - the house has been beautifully and sensitively restored - Gill (one half of the lovely couple who are lucky enough to own it) said it took 10 years and we can believe that. The rooms and bathrooms are very comfortable - breakfast was delicious. You are really made welcome and feel you have joined a house party. The local restaurant Betys is very good - no pretensions but good food and a friendly welcome. Ourense and the stunning Gorge of Sil are close by. Ourense is a lovely town - lively and interesting. We highly recommend.
