We read many of the reviews about this hotel before we travelled, and was a little nervous about the many bad reviews I read, but I needn't have worried! This hotel if lovely. Yes, the rooms can look a little dated, but this is the only slight negative I have. The beds were very comfortable, and the rooms were more than adequate for our short stay. We had 2 rooms on the 1st floor with a balcony, overlooking the road. The road noise wasn't as bad as I thought it might be. The pool area was lovely and clean with plenty of sunbeds for those that just wanted to lounge. The pool itself was a godsend as the temp was at least 35 degrees every day of our stay. The pool bar had a wide range of drinks available, and the bar man was very attentive and friendly to everyone. We ate breakfast in the hotel and there was a wide range of things on offer, so there's plenty of choice for everyone. There are a few supermarkets nearby if you need the basics, but there are plenty of restaurants and cafe bars within about a 20-30 minute walk from the hotel All in all, a lovely stay and we will be back to explore more of Murcia
